Embetech was founded in 2015 by a Team of researchers from AGH University of Krakow.

Kraków has always been a university city but in recent years has become a popular location for many large R&D centres supporting global organizations. This does help. The idea for Embetech came after numerous interactions with industrial sector practitioners who were in real need for high quality services in embedded hardware and software development. Wireless connectivity, while desired by companies, felt like a risky, complex technology causing a lot of frustration in industrial and building automation, smart lighting as well as other areas. It arrived to us that we can be the force to drive this change, delivering beneficial synergies between business and academia. And so here we are…

With rapid growth of digital transition initiatives it became apparent that we are capable of supporting customers with wireless connectivity challenges in their existing or planned products or processes supported by IoT. In parallel, we have become an aggregator of proprietary wireless connectivity solutions which can enhance the market options in the years to come. And still developing new ideas!

This is how Embetech started. Since then we have been fortunate enough to attract a number of talented people from business and engineering. Growing from a tiny team of two, back in 2015, we evolved into a robust group of 20+ versatile professionals, capable of handling challenging and complex projects.
